EA Sports FC is introducing a new traits system that takes inspiration from NBA 2K23 and NHL 23. This feature allows players to enhance specific in-game athlete stats by applying tailored traits to them. 

For instance, if your winger has poor shooting stats, you can use a trait to target and improve their shooting ability. The system also promises to offer unique animations for players, marking the first time that players can modify animations in an EA Sports football game. 

Furthermore, some traits will be team-wide, meaning they can benefit the entire team rather than just one player. These traits can be purchased on the Ultimate Team market, with one example being a stamina boost for your side.
