Nexon America has announced that MapleStory 2 will officially launch on October 10th. In preparation for launch day, Nexon is running the Mushking Royale Pre-Season that will run from August 22nd through October 1st. This will allow Maplers to create characters and reserve their favorite character names.

Mushking Battle Royale is a standalone version of the mode that will be part of MapleStory 2 when it launches. Those who score top honors during the pre-season event will win Founders Packs that contain a number of in-game items.
